Welcome to Faith Formation! Faith Formation implies a lifelong process of ongoing conversion which requires lifelong growth. It is our goal to provide opportunities for Everyone to deepen their faith, regardless of their age. So remember, Faith Formation doesn’t begin in first grade and end with Confirmation!
The primary formative event for all Faith Formation is the weekend Mass. We therefore invite and expect each family to make the commitment to participate in weekly worship together. We are committed to making the weekend experience meaningful and accessible to our families.
For our families with children, we provide a way for parents, as the primary teachers of the faith, to easily share their faith in the family setting with at-home materials. We host Monthly Gatherings for children and parents to help support their ongoing faith development. And for those families with children preparing to receive First Reconciliation, First Holy Eucharist and Confirmation, we provide Sacramental Preparation which we hope will lead to a deeper understanding of those sacraments, renewed appreciation of our faith, and an ongoing commitment to continued growth and Christian service.
Theology Uncorked
Theology Uncorked is our monthly wine and cheese reception followed by a theological talk and discussion. We meet the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the lower church hall. Follow @warrencatholic for more information and for themes or visit stmaryofthebay.org.
