Bites, Brews and Big Questions

Life is busy and we rarely have an opportunity to slow down and think about what matters to us most. John Mark Comer asks, “Do you ever catch yourself with the sneaking suspicion that you’ll wake up on your deathbed with this nagging sense that somehow, in all the hurry and busyness and frenetic activity, you missed the most important things?”

Come together in an open atmosphere to discuss big questions. What is the meaning of life? Why do good people suffer? What is happiness?

All perspectives welcome!

DETAILS:

  • We will begin each session at 7pm in the Guild’s private event space, the “Nook.” The Guild is located at 99 Water Street in Warren, RI.
  • Discussions may draw inspiration from short stories, short films, visual culture or other media.
  • No preparation in advance is required for participation.
  • Join us for all or any of the sessions.
  • Food will be provided and there is no cost to attend.
  • Drinks and beer will be available for purchase.
